Kate Middleton’s Christmas Carol Event Sparks New Tension with Meghan Markle

Harry and Meghan Left Off Guest List for Kate’s Festive Celebration

Kate Middleton is gearing up for her next major public appearance as host of the annual Together At Christmas Carol Service, potentially dashing Meghan Markle’s hopes of stealing the spotlight this holiday season.

According to a palace insider, the Princess of Wales is ready to take on her royal duties in full force after completing her chemotherapy treatment. “Princess Catherine is making sure she’s present at every significant event, following the guidance of her medical team,” the source shared.

Many royal commentators and social media users see Kate’s announcement as a setback for Meghan, who reportedly had plans to capture headlines during the festive season. An insider claimed that Meghan is actively working on rebuilding her relationships with Hollywood contacts to maintain her media presence.

“Prince Harry appears open to reconnecting with his royal family,” the source added. “He may even be regretting some of the hasty decisions he made in the past.”

In a recent teaser, Kate shared a video unveiling the invitation for this year’s carol service, set to take place at Westminster Abbey on December 6. Notably, the guest list does not include Harry and Meghan, as the event will focus on honouring around 1,600 individuals who have shown exceptional kindness and support to others

Despite the ongoing family tensions, sources close to Kate suggest she still holds affection for her brother-in-law Harry and hopes for his eventual return to the royal circle. Meanwhile, speculation is mounting that Meghan could use the holiday season to make a significant announcement about her upcoming projects.

With Kate firmly in the spotlight, it looks like the Sussexes may face an uphill battle to reclaim attention this Christmas.
