✨🎶 LEGENDARY NEWS ALERT 🎶✨Dolly Parton just shocked fans with a heartbreaking update 😱💔
Dolly Parton announced on Sunday that she is postponing her upcoming Las Vegas concert residency due to health concerns.
In a statement on Instagram, she said:
“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts.”
She explained that she’s been dealing with some health challenges, and her doctors say she needs “a few procedures.” She joked that it might be time for her “100,000-mile check-up,” though not the kind you do with a plastic surgeon.
Because of this, she said she is not able to rehearse and put together the kind of show she wants fans to see — and that they deserve to see.
While she is postponing the shows, Dolly noted she can still work on other projects from her home in Nashville.
She also reassured fans that she has no plans to retire, saying:
“God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you.”
The delay affects what would have been her first extended Las Vegas residency in 32 years.
The residency, titled “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” had been announced in June and was to run December 4–13, featuring her hits over seven decades, including “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” and Coat of Many Colors.
